I also teach the recorder, and would love to show any child who hates it that it is a wonderful instrument, and that joining a recorder group gives as much satisfaction as any orchestra or chamber group and is easier to get together.

Sight singing and singing in general I consider to be almost more important than instrumental learning. If any member of a local SINGING GROUP needs help with their part between rehearsals I should be pleased to offer it.

The same goes for NON-SPECIALIST MUSIC TEACHERS who really need a bit more knowledge and would like a lesson or two in the holidays.
